Paperwork the floor and the auditors both read

The duties lean heavily on controlled documents: bill of materials, routers, tooling and fixture prints, procedures, and new item numbers for parts. Then MDCs, MMIAs and measurement instruction sheets, which record what a part is made of and how it gets measured. At a medical device company those records are what an auditor opens first, so a stale revision or a wrong BOM line is a compliance problem, not a typo. Expect change requests that need Quality and Regulatory sign-off, and a fair amount of chasing people to close them.

Windchill and JDE come first

The background section names Windchill and JDE as required, with Vault or Teamcenter as good to have. It also asks for experience in Zimmer Biomet projects, which reads like it was written with contractors and internal people in mind. As a fresh graduate, state which of those systems you have actually opened, even in an internship or a college project, and what you did in it. Windchill and Teamcenter are PLM tools; JDE is ERP. Knowing how a BOM is structured and what an engineering change order contains costs you an evening and makes the rest of the listing readable.

A late shift, two days from home

The hours run 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM, which puts this team in step with a US working day from Bangalore. Three days in office leaves two late nights worked from home. Check how transport works for a midnight finish before you accept, because that single detail decides whether the schedule holds up over months. Travel is listed at up to 10%.

The title covers more than the production line

Cell management, tool design, process validation and troubleshooting all appear, so there is genuine shop-floor work in the mix. The listed duties still sit mostly in documentation and change control for a global manufacturing group. Someone picturing cycle-time studies and line trials all day will find a quieter, more administrative week here, and the process development and validation exposure is the part that carries you toward a plant-side role later.
