HireSetu exists to make career discovery trustworthy and practical in India — fewer low-quality listings, clearer paths from research to application, and tools that respect candidate time.

• We are: a job discovery and career intelligence platform sourcing public employer career pages, with editorial review and candidate-focused context.
• We are not: an employer, staffing consultancy, or paid job-posting marketplace for standard listings.
• We do not: sell candidate profiles as job leads to recruiters.

How jobs reach HireSetu

Revenue and sustainability

Core job browsing is free. HireSetu may offer prepaid AI Resume Optimizer credits and may display Google AdSense advertising to help fund free access. See Pricing and Privacy Policy.

Who runs HireSetu

HireSetu is owned and run by Prashanth Jakkula, an aeronautical engineering graduate from Hanamkonda, Telangana. He built it after seeing candidates jump between aggregator boards, WhatsApp forwards and company career pages without one trustworthy view of what is actually open.

He does the product engineering, reviews the job listings, and writes the Career Insights and Ground Truth articles, which carry his byline. His engineering degree is why Ground Truth explains what engineering roles involve day to day, including the aerospace ones. There is no separate writing team or paid contributor network.

• Job pages: each shows the employer's own posting. The short note under it is drafted with AI (DeepSeek) from that posting, and he checks it against the posting before it goes live. Closed jobs come off the site.
• Articles: researched from job postings, engineering references and practitioners' public accounts. AI tools may help with research and editing; every article is checked by hand.
