What you can report

• Expired or closed job
• Broken or misleading application link
• Duplicate listing
• Wrong company, title, or location
• Incorrect requirements or compensation
• Suspicious or potentially fraudulent posting (fee requests, OTP scams, impersonation)

How to report

Use the form on this page with the job URL or details, or the in-job report control on any job page. Include enough context for us to locate the listing.

Best reports include the HireSetu URL, the employer URL you checked, and one sentence describing the mismatch. Screenshots help when safe — never include passwords or OTP codes.

What happens next

Reports are logged in our database and reviewed. We may update, mark, or remove listings, or contact you if clarification is needed. We cannot always confirm outcomes with employers.

Reporting protects other candidates from wasted applications. It does not force an employer to reopen a requisition or respond to applicants.

Review timing depends on queue volume and how clear your evidence is — URLs beat vague complaints every time.

Employer corrections

If you represent an employer and believe a listing was removed or described incorrectly, email contact@hiresetu.org with the public careers URL and the HireSetu page URL so we can reconcile sources.

Privacy

Reports may store job identifiers, your description, optional email, page path, and truncated user-agent. See Privacy Policy.

Do not include passwords, OTP codes, or full government ID images. We only need enough detail to find and verify the listing against public employer sources.

Good-faith reporting helps keep free discovery trustworthy for everyone using HireSetu. Fraud reports that include fee-before-interview evidence are prioritized when URLs are provided. Employers seeking corrections should email contact@hiresetu.org with public careers links.
