Quality work, close to production

The title says manufacturing process engineering, and the responsibilities lean hard into quality: monitoring internal rejections and customer returns, tracking yields, joining root cause analysis on non-conformances, then writing up CAPA actions and following them to closure. You'll also keep calibration records, help with incoming inspection, and update SOPs and work instructions.

Expect spreadsheets, NC reports and follow-up with production and supply chain more than CAD. The listing places you under experienced engineers, so early on you gather the data and chase the actions while sign-off sits with them. That suits someone who likes detail and will repeat a check until the numbers hold.

Lean and Kaizen appear as things you'll support, which in practice means sitting in improvement discussions and tracking what changed afterwards. Bring one example of a process you measured or fixed, even from a college project or internship, and be able to explain what the before and after numbers were.

The bar, and the six-day week

Mechanical or electrical engineering is the named degree, with related disciplines allowed, and up to a year of internship or industrial experience counts. Lean, Six Sigma and QMS exposure appears as preferred, so a project or internship where you touched any of it is enough to apply; a certification isn't required. Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation is the practical tool they name, and it will get used daily.

The commitment to weigh is the schedule. Six days a week in a manufacturing environment, onsite in Bengaluru, and no relocation assistance. Budget for your own move, and ask about shift timings when you speak to them, since only the six-day week is stated.
