The R2R Process Associate will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient finance processes and controls from a GBS centre as described in the S&N Finance Record to Report (R2R) taxonomy and in line with the Group Finance Manual, Minimum Acceptable Practices (MAPs) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
What will you be doing?
- Prepare Accrual & Prepayment entry, FX revaluation & Analysis.
- Perform bank statement reconciliation and Balance Sheet reconciliation.
- Perform monthly intercompany and GL reconciliations.
- Prepare and post month end close journals.
- Audit Support.
- Prepare statutory reporting and validation.
What will you need to be Successful?
- Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA.
- Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in R2R / General Accounting.
- Hands on experience of working on SAP preferred.
- Fluency in English - Good verbal, written communication skills.
- Flexible working in any shift.

Lead with reconciliations
Put bank, balance sheet, intercompany and GL reconciliations in the first few lines of your CV, because those tasks carry the role. Follow with close journals, accruals, prepayments and FX revaluation. Name the ERP you used. If it was SAP, say which parts you touched and whether you prepared entries or only reviewed them. Validation and statutory reporting belong near audit support: list the schedules you built and any audit queries you handled.
The degree line should be easy to find, since the ad asks for B.Com, M.Com or MBA. For a GBS centre, add a line about written and verbal English. A short example of explaining a reconciliation to someone outside finance is stronger than a list of soft skills.
The two-to-five-year band is real
This is an experienced-hire role. Two to five years in R2R or general accounting is the band, so a fresher or a switcher from AP or AR needs close-cycle work on the CV to get past it. The near miss is invoice processing or collections experience with no GL reconciliations, intercompany entries, month-end journals or audit support. Show one full close cycle you contributed to and what you owned in it.
The Pune hybrid setup comes with a shift that can change. Ask how the rotation works and whether close week brings extra office days. The shift pattern matters more than the hybrid label.
