Quick answer: The hard bar is at least one year of hands-on shopfloor work in machining or assembly, on top of being able to read drawings and GD&T. The rest of the job is turning design data into MBOMs, routings and work instructions the line builds from, mostly inside SAP and Solumina.

HireSetu's note

Lead with the shopfloor year

Put the hands-on year first on your CV. Name the machines, the processes and the kind of parts, because "manufacturing support" by itself says nothing about whether you have stood next to a machine. Right after that, put the BOM and routing work: MBOM structures, production routers, work instructions, engineering change handling. That combination is what this role is.

NX or CATIA V5 and Office are the baseline, so they don't deserve the prime slot. Solumina, Teamcenter and SAP sit under preferred, so if you have touched any of them, move them up. The listing carries a long tool list, but a recruiter is scanning for the shopfloor year first and the BOM work second.

Shift, site and which program

Northgate is in Yelahanka, well north of the city centre, and the role is hybrid. It also leans on shopfloor operations and production support, so ask how many days a week you'd be on the floor and whether you'd follow a production shift calendar. That decides your commute far more than the hybrid label does.

The hiring group is Interiors. Ask which program you'd cover and whether the work tilts toward new build or the aftermarket and repair side, since the listing mentions field repair and retrofit work alongside line support. Ask too who hands you the EBOM and in what shape, because your week runs at the pace those releases arrive.
