Where the bar actually sits

Four degrees get you a look: electrical, electronics, instrumentation or computer engineering. Beyond that the listing is firm on two things, working C and C++ code and a solid grasp of circuit theory, components and instrumentation. Those sit in basic qualifications, so treat them as filters.

LabVIEW and TestStand appear only in the preferred list. Bench or automation exposure helps, it doesn't decide. The strongest fit is a fresher or an engineer a year or two in who has written C or C++ for a project or internship, ideally something touching embedded boards or industrial control. A pure software background will find the electrical troubleshooting side heavy going.

Revise circuits before anything else

The failures you'd chase here are electrical. Root-cause analysis that ends in a permanent fix is the core of the job, so brush up on schematics, measuring with a meter or scope, and reasoning about why a board or fixture misbehaves. Keep one debugging story ready from a lab, project or internship: the symptom, what you measured, what turned out to be wrong.

The duties split between bench work and the records that keep a bench usable: fixtures, calibration status, bills of materials, source code. If you have never opened LabVIEW, a few weekends on the basics is a reasonable investment since it is named. Two practical points before you apply: the role asks for domestic or international travel, and there is no relocation assistance, which matters if you would be moving to Hyderabad for it.
