HireSetu's note

Control theory carries this role

Plenty of fresher embedded listings stop at C and a microcontroller. This one names PI/PID loops, Bode plots, Nyquist plots and margin analysis, which tells you the software you write gets judged on how the loop behaves, not on whether it compiles. If control systems was theory-only in your degree, spend a week in MATLAB: build a plant model, close the loop, and watch overshoot and settling time move as you change gains.

Simulink sits next to MATLAB in the requirements, so have one model you built yourself, with the controller block and its output, that you can walk through. X-ray generators are medical equipment and the control has to hold steady across varying conditions. Margins are how you know how much room a loop has before it goes unstable.

Hardware integration and resume order

The work includes integrating drivers and troubleshooting hardware-software interfacing on MCUs, DSPs and SoC devices from Xilinx and Intel. Writing Embedded C gets you the first interview; reading a digital schematic and mapping it back to code is the skill that takes longer to build. If your projects have lived inside a dev board so far, the RTOS mentioned in the listing is your second front to prepare.

On your resume, lead with a control project that used Simulink and produced C, then name the board and RTOS you worked on, then Git. Assembly, loop tuning and any Xilinx or Intel SoC exposure go lower as extras. Coursework alone reads thin against these requirements, so pull forward lab work, an internship or a hardware project where you actually debugged something that misbehaved.
