HireSetu's note
Lead with digital design
Most freshers applying here will open their CV with an Arduino or microcontroller project. The people reading this one care about digital design first: a Verilog or VHDL block you wrote, the test bench you built to prove it worked, the waveforms and timing reports you got out of it. If you interned on an Altera board, name the device family and the toolchain you used.
C/C++ still counts, because part of the job is firmware for ARM and Nios CPUs, but keep it second. EEE degrees are accepted, so if that's yours, bring your digital design coursework and one simulation you can walk through signal by signal.
Defence work shapes the week
Park Controls builds electronics for airborne, naval and ground platforms. That changes the job in ways an IT services offer won't: clearance paperwork, limits on what you can say about your own work, and design and interface documents that get reviewed clause by clause. Writing is a genuine part of the week, not an afterthought.
Ask which strand you'd be placed in: system modelling and architecture, FPGA integration and verification, or firmware for the embedded CPUs. At this experience level you get one slice, and those three paths diverge within a couple of years. Confirm the Bengaluru work location and whether training carries a service agreement, which some defence electronics firms attach.
