The degree and the two years

Two lines here decide most applications. One is the diploma or B.Sc in EEE or ECE. The other is 0-2 years as an NPI or ECO engineer in a manufacturing setup, with EMS marked as preferred. That preference is the soft edge. The manufacturing exposure is the filter: a change process exists because a product is being built, so a plant, a contract manufacturer or a production engineering team is the environment they have in mind. A college project on BOM structure won't stand in for it, but six months in a plant, even in documentation or production support, carries real weight.

Coaching, mentoring and conflict resolution appear in the requirements list at a 0-2 year level. Treat them as how the team wants change orders to move when engineering and materials disagree. They belong near the bottom of your CV, not the top.

Agile and Baan carry the week

Agile PLM and Baan are named outright, and the daily work sits inside them: part number creation, AVL setup, ECO creation, review, routing, tracking, release and distribution. Hands-on experience in any PLM tool linked to the ECO process is the ask, so if you have used one, say what you did inside it. Which objects you created, who approved them, how many a week.

Revise the vocabulary before an interview. A BOM and an AVL are different objects, and an ECO and an ECN are not the same thing. Know what effectivity means and what happens to open work orders and stock when a change lands mid-build. English is listed as mandatory because the job includes answering business partners and customers about change queries in writing. Your emails are part of the work.
