The paper requirements are few

A graduate or postgraduate degree, B1 German and solid English. That is the stated bar. The skills list underneath it, prioritisation, problem solving, an eye for detail, service excellence, is judged in conversation, so bring incidents from internships or previous jobs where those showed up.

People management also appears, and the duties explain what it means at this level: allocating and reallocating work across the team, following the escalation matrix, running quality checks, keeping process documents current, making sure new joiners are trained. Covering for an absent colleague or splitting a queue during a busy week is the kind of thing to talk about.

The nine process names mark where you could be placed. You'll be cross-trained, so show depth in whichever one you know and let the rest follow. One practical detail: a German-language settlement desk tracks European market hours, so ask about shift timings when the call comes.

Show one process end to end

Applications for a role like this all sound alike. What gets read is a process you can describe from start to finish with numbers attached: volume handled, TAT, breaks or exceptions cleared, error rate against a service level. The job is measured on service levels and quality targets, so those figures are the right currency on the CV.

Deutsche Bank also asks for proven use of AI tools to improve productivity, with the judgment to check what comes out. That line is specific and easy to skip. Name a tool, say which task it sped up and how you verified the output.

For the German, give the certificate level and one piece of evidence: a document you wrote, a call you took, a query you resolved in the language. A B1 claim with nothing behind it reads as a hope.
