You’ll make a difference by
- You will be responsible to Perform daily Customer/Vendor Creations and Modifications for 3rd party and Intra Companies requests, Processing of emergency requests (as applicable), Contacting requestors for Discrepancy resolution and providing assistance to the team as needed for Siemens Business Units
- You will coordinate with customers to analyze the queries & resolve the issue.
- You will possess analytical skills in resolving the queries.
- Understanding of AR/AP process
- Ensure proper Accounting and Controls are performed for processing activity.
- Understanding of various quality Methodologies
- You are accurate in master data maintenance for Customer/Vendor Creations and Modifications for 3rd party and Intra Companies request
- You will be working with internal departments on queries and discrepancy resolution
- You will be working with multiple applications/ERP’s

The shift is the real filter
Night or early morning, stated plainly in the posting, and the work is onsite in Bengaluru. An early morning start or a night shift ride home changes your week far more than the job title does, especially in a city where transport at those hours is its own negotiation. Settle that question with yourself before you send the CV.
Ask which shift you'd be on and whether it rotates. That shapes your sleep, your commute and everything you plan around the job.
Queues, records and small errors
The bulk of the day is customer and vendor master data: raising new records, amending bank details, addresses and tax fields, and closing out requests that arrive from Siemens business units in other countries. It's ticketed, request-driven work with a clock running on each item, and the mistakes that hurt are tiny ones. A wrong IFSC code, a duplicate vendor number, a field left empty that blocks a payment.
This is process operations, closer to a shared-services desk than to a finance analyst seat. Expect plenty of written follow-up with requestors when something on a form doesn't reconcile, and expect your name on work that gets audited later.
Brush up on payables and receivables
Know the path of a vendor invoice from receipt to payment, and where credit notes and debit notes fit. For receivables, understand how a customer account is reconciled and why an unreconciled balance holds things up. Get comfortable with the idea of maker-checker controls: why one person enters a bank detail change and another approves it, and what goes wrong when that separation is skipped.
On the tools side, be able to clean a messy spreadsheet with lookups and pivot tables, and explain what you did. If you've touched any ERP in a course or internship, even briefly, say so; navigation confidence carries over faster than the specific screens.
Where the first two years go
Captive finance centres in Bengaluru hire steadily from this pool. A trainee stint in a large shared-services setup tends to lead into an AP or AR analyst seat, then into closing and reporting, procurement operations or the teams that automate these processes. Siemens is explicit that digitalisation and automation sit at the centre of this work, so being the person who spots a step that could be automated is noticed.
The transferable asset is fluency in a big ERP plus a record of hitting service levels. Both travel well to any other captive centre in the city.
