HireSetu's note

The two lines that filter you

Your bachelor's has to be full-time in mechanical or aerospace engineering, and you need at least a year of hands-on UG NX, mechanical or electrical side. Someone with solid SolidWorks or Creo work and no NX hours gets filtered before a human reads the rest of the CV.

Everything under the preferred heading, composites, aluminium alloys, NX Electrical Routing, interior design, is a bonus. Useful to have, not what gets you through.

Put released NX work at the top

Lead with what you modelled, drew and released: part numbers, assemblies, drawing sets, the revisions you pushed through. Then the judgement calls, tolerance stacks, DFM and DFA decisions, material selection, each tied to what it changed in manufacturing or assembly.

Composites and aluminium alloys are named, so a line each if you've handled them. NX Electrical Routing and block diagrams carry real weight if you have that experience, because fewer mechanical candidates do and the listing flags it as an advantage.

Who fits, and the years after

One to three years means they want someone past the trainee stage who can run day-to-day design work on an assigned program without being walked through it. The preferred background points at automotive or aerospace interiors, so people coming from trim, seating or cabin parts are the obvious audience moving into aerospace.

From here the work splits toward senior design ownership, or sideways into systems and program engineering, since the role already sits between design, manufacturing and quality. Hybrid in Hyderabad, with a background check and export control eligibility as standard for India positions.
