Quick answer: An entry-level platform engineering role where every responsibility is framed around supervision, playbooks and learning. You'd make small, backward-compatible changes to SDKs, client libraries and instrumentation, then triage what breaks.

Built for a first job
Read the verbs: executes, follows, learns, assists. The listing keeps a supervisor in the room for almost everything, which makes this a genuine fresher role, the type that takes a graduate and teaches them how Oracle ships platform code. A couple of internships or one substantial project is a fair base. Nobody expects you to have run a platform before.
The tradeoff is scope. You implement simple solutions inside patterns someone else has set, and design ownership is a long way off. Anyone who wants to be choosing architecture in the first year will find this slow.
The location line says India and nothing more specific. Confirm which Oracle office you'd sit in before you apply, because it changes everything about the move.
The week-to-week work
Updates to SDKs and client libraries, some observability instrumentation, triage of routine tickets using existing playbooks. A good slice of the week goes into reading code someone else wrote and matching its style, since backward compatibility is the constraint on every change: a library fix that breaks a customer's build is worse than the bug you were fixing.
Documentation sits in there too, as sample code and config snippets, which is a low-risk way for a new engineer to learn a platform properly. Periodic patching and upgrade work for systems with known vulnerabilities is also on the list.
Ask about maintenance windows and whether the team carries an on-call rotation. Those two answers shape the hours more than anything else on the page.
The move after this one
Two years of SDK and API work opens a few routes: platform or infrastructure engineering on a larger surface, API product work, or a reliability-flavoured role, given how much monitoring and patching runs through the description. The customer-facing part, where you pick up reported issues and follow them to a fix, builds something pure coding jobs don't.
Oracle tags the skill as Quality Assurance, which matches the testing and triage duties but undersells the coding. Treat it as a software engineering job with a testing streak, and say so in your own words when you describe what you want from it.
