HireSetu's note

The contract clock sets the week

Most of this work is preventive maintenance visits scheduled under AMC contracts, with breakdown calls landing on top of them. A chiller trips in a commercial building, or a VRF branch box misbehaves, and someone has to be on site inside the response window. Commissioning and testing on new installs sits alongside that.

Every visit ends in paperwork: service reports, maintenance records, site documentation, all in MS Office or whatever system the office runs. Expect to chase vendors and internal teams when a part is needed, and to keep the customer informed while you wait.

Ask how service calls are allocated across the city and how far the territory stretches. Travel time in Bengaluru decides whether a five-call day is manageable.

Name the machines on your CV

The listing names the equipment, so mirror it: chiller makes and tonnages you have worked on, VRF/VRV brands, AHU and FCU sizes, package units. For each, say what fault you traced and how you found it. Reading wiring diagrams and schematics is a stated requirement, so mention a drawing you worked from and what it told you.

Diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or RAC all qualify. The experience line is open, which reads as a job for someone with a couple of years on tools rather than a fresher. If you are just out of a diploma, lead with refrigeration practicals and any site apprenticeship on chillers.

BMS knowledge is preferred. A short course or genuine exposure on a building's controls counts, and it separates you from candidates who only know the mechanical side.
