HireSetu's note

The mechanical degree is the gate

A BE or BTech in mechanical engineering is the clean route in. The diploma exception is real but narrow: it needs design experience you can point to, with drawings, calculations and parts you have worked on. A diploma with years on a shop floor and no drawings to show is a weak match.

If your qualification is the diploma, put the design portfolio in the first half of your CV: pump components, rotating equipment, valves, anything where you made the drawing or ran the sizing.

More than a CAD seat

Pump design gets mistaken for drawing work. The listing bundles hydraulics, shaft sizing, bearings and seals with GA drawings, BOMs and datasheets, then ties the design to production, testing and field failures. A pure CAD operator who never checks a calculation will struggle in this role.

Bring one example where you sized something, picked a bearing, or worked out why a part failed. The six-day week and Surendranagar location are the practical bits: the design office and the shop floor are close enough that changes come back fast.
