HireSetu's note

Where the work actually lands

Product stewardship is the unglamorous half of sustainability: proving that every part in a product is allowed to be sold in each market. You read bills of materials, chase material declarations from suppliers, check substances against restricted lists and thresholds, and keep the evidence tidy. Eaton's aerospace portfolio makes this heavy, because a single assembly can carry hundreds of part numbers.

Anyone picturing planting drives or writing carbon reports will be disappointed. The payoff is concrete: a product does not get released to a market without that data.

Regulations worth knowing cold

REACH, RoHS, ELV, TSCA, PFAS, POP and California Prop 65 all appear in this job. You do not need depth, but knowing what each restricts and roughly where it bites, electronics, vehicles, chemicals, consumer goods, puts you ahead of someone seeing the list for the first time. AD-DSL is the aerospace industry's own declarable substances list and turns up far less in coursework than REACH or RoHS.

Revise the engineering basics the listing spells out: mass, density, volume, material and unit conversions. Compliance work runs on unit mistakes. Worth confirming before you apply is how the hybrid week works at Hadapsar and which aerospace product lines you would cover, since the substances in play shift between engines, avionics and interiors.
