HireSetu's note

The line that filters

NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand carry the only must in the requirements, while Python, C/C++ and the rest of the tool list sit in preferred or plus wording. Two years of building and maintaining LabVIEW benches, wiring DAQ hardware and writing TestStand sequences is the profile this fits. Strong Python test automation without the NI stack misses the single line the team can't flex on.

The degree requirement is unusually wide: mechanical, civil, aerospace, materials, manufacturing technology and computer science all count. That tells you the team hires on the bench skills, not the branch on your certificate.

Coming in from consumer or automotive test

Rigs, signal chains, oscilloscopes and logic analyzers behave the same way in any industry, so the hands-on side travels well. The paperwork doesn't. DO-178C means each test traces back to a requirement and each result becomes evidence someone reviews later, which is why validation plans, ATPs and traceability are named up front. Expect uncertainty budgets to ISO GUM, golden files with checksums, and verification reports that get read closely.

ARINC and discrete signalling are avionics-specific, and Boeing only asks for eagerness to learn them. Anyone arriving from automotive Ethernet or WIFI test has a head start on the protocol half.

Bengaluru, morning shift, global call times

The role is onsite in Bengaluru on the morning shift, with relocation offered within India. The line about flexible hours is there because you'll work with teams in other time zones, so some early or late calls are part of the week rather than an exception. No visa sponsorship on this one, so read it as a Bengaluru-based job for the long run.

How to apply

  1. Open Boeing's careers site with the Apply button.
  2. Create a Workday account for Boeing. Workday logins are separate for every company, so an account made for another employer won't work here.
  3. Upload your resume and check every auto-filled field; Workday often misreads dates and job titles.
  4. Answer the screening questions, submit, and look for the confirmation email from Workday.
