Quick answer: A 7+ CGPA in electronics or a related branch is a hard filter, and the shift pattern is the other one. The engineering itself is yield work, where fab process, E-test/WAT, wafer sort and final test data all feed into the same problem.

HireSetu's note

The work is yield firefighting

The day is yield firefighting. You chase low yields across the line, read E-test and wafer-sort signatures, and work out whether the cause sits in the process, the design or the test flow. Expect data pulls, conversations with process and test engineers, and fixes that need other teams to move. New engineers get a product or technology area and are pushed to drive root cause with little supervision. A quiet desk with one block to own is not the shape of this job.

Clear up shifts and export review

Shift rotation is the first thing to pin down. The posting is honest about a 24x7 setup with night shifts and weekends, so ask how the roster is built, how often you rotate, and how weekend coverage is shared. The global overlap is real: you will be on calls with teams in other time zones, and that can mean early mornings or late nights. If you are not a US citizen, US permanent resident or protected individual, ask about the export licensing review before you accept. That review can take time and happens before you start. Travel is 10%, so ask where those trips go.

How to apply

  1. Open Analog Devices's careers site with the Apply button.
  2. Create a Workday account for Analog Devices. Workday logins are separate for every company, so an account made for another employer won't work here.
  3. Upload your resume and check every auto-filled field; Workday often misreads dates and job titles.
  4. Answer the screening questions, submit, and look for the confirmation email from Workday.
