HireSetu's note
The requirements are the real bar
The header and the body describe two different people. One is an entry-level product associate. The other is someone who has run governance processes, financial controls and audit-ready documentation in a multinational, and who can talk about Sarbanes-Oxley without flinching. The body is what gets screened.
A fresher, or someone whose four years were spent in product or marketing, is looking at a job written for a different profile.
If you do have that finance operations background, here is the core: EEMEA fund administration, owning FundApp governance, approval evidence, and audit and control testing across markets. The stakeholder list runs through Country Managers, DFOs, Controllers, Legal, Regulatory and GBSC, spread over different countries and time zones. Gurgaon, hybrid.
Committee cycles and evidence chasing
Picture calendar work. Fund committee meetings to organise, materials to prepare, decisions to write down, actions to track. Between those you sit in FundApp checking initiative setup, forecasts, flex codes and approval status, and chase the paperwork that proves each approval actually happened.
The semi-annual Regional Steering Committee is a fixed point, where collections and spending get reported planned against actual. Audit requests turn up on their own schedule, and your evidence either holds up or it doesn't.
Two things worth confirming when you talk to them: how many markets and funds sit under this role, and who owns FundApp data entry when a country team is slow to update it. Those two answers decide whether this job is structured or a permanent chase.
