HireSetu's note

The 2025 cutoff does the filtering

Two conditions decide most of the shortlist. Your degree has to be completed in 2025, and you cannot have any previous employment on record. Internships don't count against you. So a 2024 pass-out with a year of paid work is out, while a 2025 pass-out with three internships is fine. The branch list is wide, six disciplines from mechatronics to industrial engineering, so the year and the clean employment history matter more than which degree you hold. CGPA is listed as TBD, which means the cut-off isn't fixed. Ask the recruiter what minimum they're applying before you spend an evening on the application. ECAD, MCAD, simulation and programming are all marked desired, so no single tool is a gate.

Bench work plus a lot of writing

The job mixes hands-on assembly and testing with documentation. You'll help build and troubleshoot systems that combine mechanical parts, electronics and control software, collect and analyse data from engineering tests, and keep drawings, schematics and technical records current. Getinge makes medical technology, and validation records in that world get read by people well outside the engineering team, so the paperwork carries weight. Plan for time at a bench with instruments and comparable time writing up what the test showed.

A supervised first year

This is a training position with a fixed one-year term, not a graduate engineer hire. You assist staff engineers, develop proof-of-concept work under supervision, and sit in with manufacturing, quality and R&D as part of the learning. That means less ownership than a full engineering role and more review of your work, which suits someone who wants exposure across functions. Stipend and what happens when the year ends are the two practical questions, so raise both with the recruiter early.

Bring one integrated project

The strongest thing you can show is something you built that spans mechanics, electronics and code: a small rig with a sensor, a motor and a control loop, an automated test setup, anything where the parts talk to each other. Keep the schematic and the drawing you made. Describe one test you ran and what the numbers said. If a college project used an ECAD or MCAD tool, name the tool and what you designed with it.
