Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role include –
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities as per defined timelines
- Post journal entries with proper documentation and approvals
- Handle daily cash, holdings, trade transactions and their respective reconciliations.
- Prepare and review reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Perform variance analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Support preparation of TB checks and schedules
- Ensure accuracy of ledger balances
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP)
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Respond to queries from auditors, controllers, and business stakeholders
- Support regional or global finance teams across geographies
- Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation
- Support transition activities and SOP documentation

Lead with the ledger work
