Accounting & Reporting Manager - Account
We are looking for a Spanish-speaking Accounts Payable Specialist with strong process knowledge and a customer-focused mindset to support our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations. This role involves managing invoice processing, vendor queries, and payment-related activities for Spanish-speaking countries within ABB, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with ABB policies.
This role is contributing to the Finance Services business Accounts Payable division in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for
Processing accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate tracking and processing.
Performing necessary activities within the accounts payable area to ensure accurate and timely reporting. Executing analysis and reports assigned and taking appropriate action as necessary.
Compiling with and helping to achieve internal control over financial reporting compliance in ac-counts payable for applicable templates.
Participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation. Ensuring all rele-vant stakeholders are aware of progress and/or issues to maximize customer satisfaction. Check invoices to verify that they comply with the fiscal and internal control requirements.
Focusing on organizing and coordinating on a task, project or program basis in support of a pro-cess or internal team.
Qualifications & Skills
Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Ability to interpret and communicate financial information in both languages.
Certification in Accounts Payable or Financial Accounting is a plus.
Experience supporting Spanish-speaking countries in a finance function.
You are immersed engaged in working with SAP.
Ability to demonstrate as 0 to 2 year experience or skills in, SAP, AP, P2P, journal entries.
You are passionate about Analytics skills.
Degree in Mcom/MBA-finance/Bcom with proper documentation and percentage.
Fluency in English & Spanish (spoken and written) is essential
Language & Communication
Serve as the primary point of contact for Spanish-speaking vendors and internal teams.
Translate financial documents and vendor communications from Spanish to English and vice versa.

Spanish carries the job
Spoken and written fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, and it means working fluency, since you'd answer vendor queries, handle internal communication for Spanish-speaking countries and translate financial documents in both directions. Invoice and tax vocabulary in Spanish is its own skill. A candidate who can hold a conversation but has never read a Spanish invoice has real ground to cover before the first week.
Firm requirements and soft ones
Three things look non-negotiable: both languages, a BCom, MCom or MBA-finance degree with marksheets and percentage behind it, and some hands-on SAP use. The 0 to 2 year band means a fresher with the right degree and languages can get through.
An AP or financial accounting certification is labelled a plus, and so is prior experience supporting Spanish-speaking countries in a finance function, so neither should stop you applying.
