You'll be validating Wi-Fi software on devices where Bluetooth and Zigbee or Thread radios share the same silicon, which is why WLAN, Bluetooth BR/EDR and BLE, LE audio and IEEE 802.15.4 fundamentals all land in one job description. College covers WLAN at best. The Bluetooth and 802.15.4 side is evening reading, and the coex mechanisms and multi-radio concurrency cases are things the team will walk you through on real hardware.
