HireSetu's note

Your degree matters more than your CAD tool

The hard filter is the Mechanical Engineering degree and the 0 to 1.5 years. CATIA is preferred, not mandatory: the requirement is proficiency in one or more CAD tools, so SolidWorks or Creo counts too. PLM exposure, FMEA and Monte Carlo sit under desired, so gaps there won't rule you out. Root cause analysis is listed as required, so be able to walk through how you traced a problem to its source.

Put CAD and drawings at the top

Lead with CATIA if you have it, then PLM, sheet metal and any harness or cabling work. A parametric model you built from scratch, with a drawing, GD&T callouts and a stack-up behind it, does more for you here than a long tool list. Give DFM or DFA reviews from a project or internship their own line.

Days are built around revisions and checks

You own one module inside a larger mechanical system. The week runs on drawing revisions, bills of material, component specs and quality checks against both Eaton and customer standards. A senior engineer or team lead sets the assignment; you develop concepts within it and carry them through documentation, since the listing puts the emphasis on documentation, monitoring and testing. ACES and the product launch process are part of the routine.

Most of the design is already decided

You support a specific customer using their CAD software and document control system, so you won't be choosing the architecture or setting the standards. That suits someone who likes detail: a sheet metal bend that forms cleanly, a harness route a supplier can build. Ask which product line within Conveyance and which customer you'd be placed with, since that decides which CAD tool fills your days.
