HireSetu's note

A first-job seat, and it reads like one

Zero to one year, internships welcome, training on the systems: Cigna has built this for someone near the start. Nothing in the requirements asks for insurance or claims background, and Salesforce appears alongside 'or similar' with training promised. The weight lands on evidence you can do repetitive, rules-based work without dropping accuracy.

Anyone three or four years into operations and looking to own a process will find the scope narrower. You process cases, escalate what doesn't fit, and hand exceptions to senior analysts or supervisors.

Where to put your two strongest lines

Cigna names two things: validation and Salesforce. Lead with validation. Any stint where you checked records against a source counts, whether that was an internship cleaning a spreadsheet, a college data project, or a part-time job handling forms. Describe what you checked, roughly how many, and what you caught. A volume and an error rate beat a paragraph of adjectives.

If you have touched Salesforce at all, even Trailhead modules or a CRM project, say so plainly. Training is on offer, so it reads as a bonus, not a gate.

English fluency is listed for a reason: some of the work is email updates to customers. A second language earns a line too. Cigna also mentions quality checks, so any experience reviewing someone else's work belongs on the CV.

How to apply

  1. Open Cigna's careers site with the Apply button.
  2. Create a Workday account for Cigna. Workday logins are separate for every company, so an account made for another employer won't work here.
  3. Upload your resume and check every auto-filled field; Workday often misreads dates and job titles.
  4. Answer the screening questions, submit, and look for the confirmation email from Workday.
