HireSetu's note
Hard filters and soft preferences
The bachelor's degree is the only stated qualification, and it's broad enough to include freshers from any stream. What actually decides your application is the set of willingness statements: the six-month contract, rotational shifts with nights, coming to office when asked, and keeping your camera on in virtual meetings. Those aren't preferences you can negotiate later.
The preferred qualification mentions weekends, nights and holidays. Treat that as a lean toward people who can absorb an irregular roster. The degree and the willingness statements are the real gates. The roster rotates, so a fixed daytime schedule isn't something you can build your week around.
Nine hours of short clips
Your day is built around 6.8 to 7 hours of actual video watching. Each clip lasts 15 to 20 seconds, but there are hundreds of them, so the work is one long stretch of focus rather than a varied set of tasks. Breaks happen at pre-scheduled slots, not when you feel like pausing.
Weekly offs are two consecutive days, and they move around. That means sleep, family time and errands have to bend around the shift. Eye strain and screen fatigue are real parts of eight hours of close looking, so decide how you handle that before you accept.
A short contract with a narrow skill
This is a data operations job: people checking short stow videos so Amazon's automation improves. The 'ML' in the title refers to the team's purpose. Your work is video auditing; model training and code sit with other teams. That makes it a reasonable short-term income for a fresher, a career switcher, or anyone between longer-term plans, especially if the shift churn suits you.
The contract gives you Amazon on your CV. It doesn't build machine learning skills you can carry into an engineering interview. After five months you'll be excellent at video auditing, which is a narrow thing to be excellent at. Go in clear-eyed about that.
