Your mission
An internship opportunity titled : Technical Data Analyst Intern has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the "Customer Services Fleet Efficiency and Engineering" department.
Ideally, this is a 3 months internship and it should start on 11 Jan 2027(date subject to flexibility).
Your main missions will consist of
- Write and update manuals: Author and maintain Aircraft maintenance documentation according to quality standards and schedules
- Improve processes: Find innovative ways to enhance technical data workflows and tools.
- Assess design changes: Review engineering updates (such as service bulletins) to determine their impact on technical documents.
- Coordinate with teams: Work closely with customer services, design offices, airlines, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance: Maintain adherence to aviation regulations (EASA/FAA) and quality standards (EN9100).
- Support customers: Provide efficient assistance to all users and customers regarding maintenance deliverables.

Most weeks start with an engineering change
The output is aircraft maintenance documentation, and the work that generates it is a design change. A service bulletin or engineering update lands, and someone has to work out which manuals it affects, redraft the affected text, and get it through review. Three months covers a couple of those cycles plus standing updates to documents already in service.
The knowledge bar is basic aircraft systems, so you should be able to read a system description and follow what a component does. Time spent around real maintenance helps, because the steps you write get followed by a technician in a hangar. The team sits inside Customer Services, Fleet Efficiency and Engineering, which means airlines and suppliers read your documents as closely as Airbus engineers do.

Search "technical data analyst" and you'll turn up jobs built on SQL, Python and dashboards.
