HireSetu's note

A general coding internship inside an aerospace team

Two things decide your fit: real depth in Java or Python, and enough testing knowledge to write web automation. Playwright is the named tool and Selenium is offered as the acceptable alternative, so a college project built on Selenium counts fully. SQL, HTML/CSS, Git, Linux and cloud basics sit behind that core, and they read as things you'll absorb on the job.

The team name mentions Configuration and PLM Integration Services. Anyone who has spent time in aerospace reads that as platform administration and data-model configuration work. The responsibilities listed point somewhere else: end-to-end tests, unit tests, a proof of concept, code reviews, sprint planning. Apply expecting an ordinary software internship, with aerospace as the surrounding domain. The degree asked for is computer science or software engineering, and the term is fixed at six months, which is hard to run alongside a final semester full of exams and a project deadline.

Prep that earns its place

Depth in one language beats a long list. If you pick Java, expect to talk about collections, exceptions and how you'd split a small module into classes. Python is accepted equally, so choose whichever one you have actually built something in.

Flowable shows up once, described as a tool you're eager to work with. No prior workflow engine or BPMN experience is asked for, so keep your prep away from it. Playwright deserves an evening: how a test is structured, how it waits for the page to settle, and how failures get reported. Selenium habits transfer almost directly.

Debugging and problem-solving are on the list, and there's a POC to deliver. Bring one project you can open and walk through end to end, including the bug that took you longest and how you tracked it down. Sprint ceremonies and code reviews start in week one, so you'll be reading other people's code and defending your own decisions out loud. Say your reasoning aloud once before the interview; writing it and speaking it are different skills.
