Quick answer: A shop-floor maintenance job in Pune covering injection moulding machines from six different makers, along with the dryers, temperature controllers, hot runners, conveyors and robots around them. How quickly you get a stopped machine running is the measure that follows you.
From Motherson's job posting
What you'll do
Perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance of injection molding machines from Engel, Milacron, Supermaster, Negri Bossi, Haitian, and KraussMaffei.
Identify and resolve electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical faults to minimize machine downtime and ensure smooth production operations.
Maintain and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment, including material feeding systems, dehumidifiers, mold temperature controllers, hot runner systems, and conveyors.
Monitor and troubleshoot industrial robots from ABB, Wittmann, Yaskawa, EPSON, and STAR.
Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings for fault diagnosis and maintenance activities.
Execute preventive maintenance schedules and monitor equipment performance to improve machine reliability and availability.
Prepare and maintain daily and monthly maintenance reports, breakdown records, and preventive maintenance documentation.
Monitor key maintenance performance indicators, including MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures).
Manage spare parts inventory, maintain critical spare parts availability, and coordinate replacement of defective components.
Identify opportunities for energy savings, improve equipment efficiency, and reduce maintenance costs.
Coordinate with production and other departments to resolve equipment-related issues and minimize production interruptions.
Follow safety procedures and maintenance standards to ensure a safe working environment and reliable equipment operation.

HireSetu's note
A different controller on every machine
Six press makers in one plant means six controllers, six wiring conventions and six sets of spare-part numbers. Nobody arrives knowing all of them. What counts is whether you can open a cabinet, read the drawing and trace a fault to a relay, a valve or a heater band without pulling the line apart.
The robots are a second system to learn. ABB, Wittmann, Yaskawa, EPSON and STAR units handle take-out and sprue picking, so a stoppage may sit there while the press itself is fine. Learn to tell those two apart early.
MTTR and MTBF appearing in the listing tells you how the work is scored: how fast you bring a machine back, and how long it then runs. Repeat breakdowns on the same press get noticed. Maintenance here follows the production calendar, so ask about the shift rotation before you accept.
Lead with the machines
The hard requirement is fault-finding on moulding machines, backed by reading electrical circuit diagrams, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and mechanical drawings. The rest of the list, robot brands, energy-saving ideas, spare-parts inventory, can be picked up on the job.
Your CV should open with the equipment you have handled: tonnage range, the makers, and the faults you fixed. A heater band that kept failing, a hydraulic leak traced to a cracked fitting, a hot runner controller throwing alarms. Rough numbers help too, like downtime cut on one press or a PM schedule you built and ran.
Preventive maintenance and paperwork take as much of the week as breakdowns do. If you have only done reactive work, say that plainly and show any checklists, breakdown records or reports you kept. A junior engineer who writes a clean breakdown record saves the maintenance head a headache.
