HireSetu's note

A senior tool list on a junior title

One year of experience, then Power BI, Power Automate, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL and NoSQL in the same posting. Nobody at that stage is strong in all of them.

What the team is staffing is the split written into the role: most of the week on franchise programme operations, the smaller part on analytics and automation. The useful preparation is a story about a manual, repetitive process you made run itself, on a dataset from an internship, a course or your current job. Small and finished beats ambitious and vague.

Franchise here means licensing

A card network's franchise programme is the licensing and registration side: banks, processors and fintechs get approved to issue cards or sign merchants under Mastercard's rules, and this team keeps those records and programmes moving. Nothing to do with retail franchising or brand marketing.

The day-to-day is queries from internal and external partners, reporting, and keeping desktop procedures current. The listing asks for shift flexibility, so ask what the rotation looks like and which programmes and regions your desk covers before you accept.

How to apply

  1. Open Mastercard's careers site with the Apply button.
  2. Create a Workday account for Mastercard. Workday logins are separate for every company, so an account made for another employer won't work here.
  3. Upload your resume and check every auto-filled field; Workday often misreads dates and job titles.
  4. Answer the screening questions, submit, and look for the confirmation email from Workday.
