HireSetu's note

The documents are the deliverable

In a regulated medical device plant, a process change is not real until it is written down, reviewed and signed. Validation protocols get written before the work starts, qualification records get filled in while it runs, and reports get verified afterwards. The listing puts creating, updating and checking that paperwork right beside shop-floor support, because both are the same job. If your only writing so far has been lab reports, that is closer to this than you think. A missing signature or a misread gauge is a finding, not a formality.

You execute, an MPE approves

The role is deliberately execution-oriented, with experienced Manufacturing Process Engineers signing off what you do. You run the fixture checks, the equipment qualification, the operator training support, and someone senior owns the approval. There is no design rotation or R&D stint in this posting. Mechanical, electrical, electronics and mechatronics degrees are all accepted, which tells you the team is hiring for people who can pick up process work on the ground, not a narrow specialism.

Where it can lead

Manufacturing process engineering at a medtech site feeds into validation, quality engineering, new product introduction and supply chain, and this transfer program puts you next to all four from week one. The next rung is MPE, then a specialism once you know which part of the process you actually like. No relocation assistance means the move to Bengaluru and the daily commute are yours to sort. The transfer itself runs long enough that a trainee watches a product go from a written protocol to a running line.

How to apply

  1. Open GE HealthCare's careers site with the Apply button.
  2. Create a Workday account for GE HealthCare. Workday logins are separate for every company, so an account made for another employer won't work here.
  3. Upload your resume and check every auto-filled field; Workday often misreads dates and job titles.
  4. Answer the screening questions, submit, and look for the confirmation email from Workday.
