The role is responsible for overseeing and managing various logistics functions, including warehouse operations, distribution, and transportation management. Essential Functions
- Manage and optimize warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving activities
- Oversee the efficient operation of transportation and fleet management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
- Implement logistics strategies to support supply chain optimization and reduce logistics costs
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure seamless material handling and inventory replenishment
- Monitor order fulfilment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers
- Ensure compliance with serialization activities and other regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical products

Plenty of logistics jobs are judged on cost per shipment and on-time delivery. This one adds a compliance layer. Serialization means packs carry codes that have to be recorded, verified and reconciled through dispatch and returns, and a mismatch turns into a deviation with documentation behind it. Cold chain means temperature-sensitive goods, where packing, monitoring and the delivery window all have to hold.
If your background is general warehousing, FMCG or e-commerce fulfilment, the floor work will look familiar. The compliance layer is where you would be learning on the job, so state clearly in your application where you have handled serialization or cold chain, even for one product line.
