HireSetu's note

Stock levels and order chasing

Fulfilment operations is the bucket this sits in, and the work is execution. A week here is checking stock against demand, raising purchase orders, and following up with suppliers on lead times and delivery dates. Replenishment planning feeds those orders, so you will be reading sales trends and forecasts that someone else has built.

The listing is upfront about the level: routine problems solved by precedent, detailed instructions on every task, decisions that affect your own work and get reviewed. That is what a first job in supply chain operations looks like. The narrow scope means you get good at one slice of the process instead of the whole chain, and the client-value line in the posting is Accenture's pitch to buyers, not your day.

Ask about the shift rotation early. Rotational shifts at a Mumbai operations centre can mean nights, and that decides your commute and your sleep far more than the job title does.

Lead with inventory and order work

Inventory management and order management are the two lines a screener looks for. Any internship, warehouse stint or retail back office where you tracked stock, raised a PO or kept a tracker updated belongs at the top of your CV. Replenishment planning and supplier coordination come next, and demand forecasting only if you have genuinely done some.

Excel is the tool this work runs on. A pivot table and a lookup you can explain beat a stack of supply chain certificates. Since any graduation qualifies here, the degree name carries little weight.
