Job Description Summary: Conducts a wide range of quality-control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements. Executes tests according to established plans & scripts, logs problems, retests software corrections. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records, drafts and revises test plans and scripts. Creates and executes automation scripts. About the Role: As an Associate Software Quality Assurance Analyst, you will embark on your journey to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will support the quality assurance team in executing planned test cases, reporting bugs, and assisting in routine QA activities. Responsibilities: Participate in test planning Create test cases Execute pre-defined test cases and document results Report and track basic software bugs under supervision Assist in maintaining a QA environment Perform initial verification of bug fixes Support the preparation of test data Assist in the documentation and reporting of testing processes Participate in team meetings and training sessions Develop a basic understanding of the software being tested Liaise with developers for bug resolution Follow standard QA practices and methodologies Skills: Has computer science background with programming experience through coursework or internship Attention to Detail: Ability to notice and document defects Basic Test Case Execution: Understanding of how to execute and document test cases Bug Reporting Tools: Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Bugzilla Communication: Clear written and verbal skills to report bugs and test results Basic Software Understanding: Introductory knowledge of the software under test Time Management: Ability to complete assigned tasks within deadlines Basic Documentatio
