Position Overview: Gathers detailed hardware and software inventory information to facilitate decisions about purchasing, allocating, replenishing and retiring IT assets. Contributes to asset lifecycle management and helps ensure the effective and efficient use of allocated hardware, software and associated infrastructure. Enforces compliance with corporate security policies, licensing requirements and technology deployment standards. Coordinates with system support, networking and other personnel to ensure the effective and efficient management of company assets. Key Responsibilities/Outcomes • Provides asset management support for specific organizational areas and/or designated IT equipment and software. • Responds to user requests about asset-related issues (i.e., functional issues, device status, replacing lost equipment). • Works with desktop support / support teams to resolve minor asset-related problems. • Maintains compliance documentation related to ass
