DESCRIPTION: Join our team as a Software Test Engineer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where you'll contribute to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. You'll work on advanced products that support scientific research, from mass spectrometry instruments to laboratory automation systems. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, ensuring our software meets the highest quality standards. REQUIREMENTS: Execute verification and validation testing for software controlling KingFisher and Varioskan instruments. Develop and execute manual test cases based on software requirements and functional specifications. Perform laboratory experiments using KingFisher automated extraction workflows and Varioskan microplate reader applications to validate software functionality. Verify software workflows involving sample preparation, nucleic acid purification, reagent handling, and microplate measurements. Validate data generated from absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence, and other detection modes supported by Varioskan systems.
