Job Summary Synechron is seeking a Mobile Architect (Android) to lead the design of scalable, secure, and high-performing Android applications. This role provides architectural direction, supports delivery teams, and helps build reliable enterprise mobile solutions that align with business and technology goals. Software Requirements Required Kotlin – advanced proficiency Java – strong working knowledge Android SDK – deep hands-on experience Jetpack components MVVM/MVI Coroutines Hilt/Dagger REST APIs , JSON , WebSockets CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , GitHub Actions , or Bitrise Android debugging and profiling tools Material Design implementation Preferred Firebase , AWS , or Azure Flutter or React Native Advanced testing, release automation, and observability tools Overall Responsibilities Architect and design Android applications for scalability, security, and performance Define architecture standards, reusable components, and coding practices Work with product, UX, and backend teams on APIs, workflows, and integrations Lead technical reviews, guide developers, and enforce architecture standards Drive feasibility analysis, PoCs, and estimations Support the full mobile lifecycle from design through deployment and optimization Promote clean architecture, MVVM/MVI, and modularization Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages Essential: Kotlin, Java Preferred: Exposure to cross-platform languages/frameworks Databases / Data Management Essential: JSON-based data handling, API integration, mobile data flow design Preferred: Caching, offline sync, local storage patterns Cloud Technologies Essential: Understanding of cloud-backed mobile integrations Preferred: Firebase, AWS, Azure Frameworks and Libraries Essential: Android SDK, Jetpack, MVVM/MVI, Coroutines, Hilt/Dagger, Material Design Preferred: Flutter, React Native Development Tools and Methodologies Essential: CI/CD, code reviews, profiling/debugging tools, Agile/Scrum, PoCs, estimation Preferred: Advanced
