Job Title QA - Functional & Automation Tester - Officer Role Summary & Role Description We are looking for a Functional & Automation Test Engineer with around 8-10 years of experience to work exclusively on Financial Services domain. Person in this position will collaborate with peers on cross functional teams (primarily agile) to deliver high-quality software solutions. What you will be responsible for As a Functional & Automation Test Engineer you will Understanding business requirements and defining test strategies for software applications. Develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Test data, Test backups and other SQA artifacts. Maintain Automated Scripts for complex application workflows/process. Identify regression cases and automate test suites. Incorporate automated test scripts into continuous integration process. Perform Integration, System, Regression, Compatibility and User acceptance testing phases. Participate in daily Agile standups, iteration planning, product demos and application walkthroughs. Maintaining and tracking the test deliverables in test management tool. Taking responsibility of the QA deliverables. Oversees the day to day activities of one or more project teams Prepares project report and ensures metrics are kept up to date. Reviews daily processes and suggests improvements as required To coordinate with all stakeholders in the program – Dev/Business/PM teams. Works closely with other test teams, development teams, project managers, analysts, and deployment and support personnel to support project and department goals Act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases and support. Replicating the production defects in lower environments. Core/Must have skills Capital Markets domain experience Functional, Application & Automation Testing experience Strong knowledge in SQL. Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development. Test automation tools like TOSCA, Python, Selenium & UFT Defect T
