Who we are looking for: We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable microservices-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, REST APIs, and messaging systems (Kafka/IBM MQ), with exposure to AWS cloud environments. Additionally, experience in data engineering, including Databricks, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow, is highly desirable. This role offers an opportunity to work in Capital Markets domain projects, helping build and enhance enterprise-grade applications. The role is primarily an Individual Contributor (IC) with strong ownership and growth potential. As a Java Developer: Should be able to develop based on business requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, developers and testing team. Should demonstrate ownership, good analytical and quick learning capabilities Independently undertake critical development assignments across project areas. Collaborate with other roles/teams to deliver consistent and timely results with high quality Should have good working experience in Agile Scrum and CI/CD based projects Provides subject matter expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and resolving production issues Should possess good communication skills and should be able to work independently with minimal guidance Implement best coding practices These skills will help you succeed in this role: Good grasp on Core Java, Microservices, Cloud, Spring Boot, SQL, RESTful APIs, AWS Good understanding of Shell scripting and Linux Messaging Frameworks (IBM MQ/Kafka) Knowledge of Capital Markets Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills Strong written & verbal communication skills Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides Knowledge of Data engineering, Databricks and Apache Spark Education & Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years’ experience of developing enterprise-grade application us
