Overview: In this role, the Senior Lead Engineer (Mechanical Design) will actively participate in conceptual and detailed design of NPI (New Product Introduction), redesign and technology programs of Collins Aerospace Advance Structures business unit and will support engineering activities in Engineering Product development & lead the design activities effectively to meet the business objectives. Position: Senior Lead Engineer - Mechanical Design (P3) Primary Responsibilities: Understand system requirements, design intent, and comply with applicable design practices, aerospace standards, customer requirements and regulatory requirements. Experience in System architecture design and complete product life cycle. Lead design engineering activities for NPI, Technology programs, value engineering and resolve design problems.
