Position Summary As a Component Design Engineer for gas turbine Structures & Casings team, you will be part of the global Structures & Controls Engineering, Technology & Safety organization. You will develop complex engineering solutions that satisfy cutting-edge aerospace functional and physical requirements and exhibit robustness for manufacturing capability. Within your assigned propulsion system program, you’ll be responsible for developing, assessing, and delivering hardware and systems that push the envelope with performance, life, and efficiency. What you will be doing Develop new component designs and design changes for high-performance gas turbine hardware and systems, which includes (but is not limited to) creating design concepts, optimizing concepts to a final definition, preparing technical presentations and documents, performing dimensional analyses, supporting creation of drawings, delivering hardware for validation, and release of hardware to production.
