As part of the Finance and Accounting shared services team, this role supports accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable accounting processes. The Accountant will work closely with cross-functional and U.S.-based teams while supporting month-end, quarter-end, and audit activities as Porch continues to grow its operations. What You Will Do As An Accountant Perform professional accounting activities related to general accounting, fixed assets, capitalized software, and operational accounting Prepare and review monthly and quarterly journal entries and account reconciliations Review work performed by accounting staff including invoices, vendor details, journal entries, and reconciliations Review and analyze financial data and assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly financial re
