Profile Description We’re seeking someone to join our Enterprise Technology Team as a Mainframe Level Two Operator in Enterprise Z (EZ) to work in the Command Center of a large, 24X7 multinational bank holding company where mainframe availability is mission critical. The role requires the judicious exercise of privileged Mainframe access and rigorous adherence to security and operational policies. What you’ll do in the role: Infrastructure monitoring of multi-platform and multi-lpar environment Batch monitoring for multi-platform environment running on multiple scheduling applications. Escalate infrastructure alerts – prod, non-prod, shadow and infra environments. Escalate batch alerts – abends, late starting and long running batch jobs. Critical SLA monitoring for multiple platforms Batch SLA reporting for multiple platforms. Email monitoring and coordination. Teams monitoring and coordination. Mainframe shutdown and startup – IPL’s – automation Planning and execution of weekly maintenance scripts Plan and execute scheduled event runbooks. Monitor and execute Service Now requests for infrastructure and batch on multiple platforms.
