A Day in the Life The SAP IT Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s SAP ABAP Technical team, including strategy, implementation, support, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role oversees internal teams and external vendors, helps drive SAP S/4HANA migration efforts, and ensures alignment between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor governance experience. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: SAP Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute the SAP roadmap/AI Strategy/Cloud Technology aligned with business objectives Lead SAP transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA migration and modernization programs Act as the liaison between IT and business stakeholders for SAP-related matters Program Delivery: Plan, manage, and deliver SAP Projects Oversee project timelines, budgets, risks, and dependencies Manage multiple projects concurrently Ensure adoption of best practices, data integrity, and minimal business disruption Handle escalations with stakeholders Drive continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives Provide reporting and KPIs on delivery and quality Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP developers and architects Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and support career development Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment Vendor Management: Manage relationships with system int
