Company: Marsh Risk Description: We are seeking a talented individual to join our Treaty Reinsurance (Guy Carpenter) team at Marsh Risk India, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Senior Vice President/ Executive Vice President We will count on you to: Core Job Responsibilities Treaty Structuring & Placement: Design and place proportional (Quota Share/Surplus) and non-proportional (Excess of Loss/Stop Loss) treaties, covering entire portfolios rather than individual risks. Business Procurement & Relationship Management: Identify, approach, and maintain strong relationships with domestic (e.g., GIC Re) and international reinsurers and brokers. Technical Analysis & Risk Assessment: Analyze client underwriting portfolios, loss history, and risk retention philosophy to provide technical data for reinsurance pricing. Market Negotiation & Placement: Negotiate competitive treaty terms, including commission, rates, and coverage limits. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure compliance with IRDAI regulations on reinsurance Claims & Accounts Management: Assist in claims negotiation, settlement, and premium remittance to ensure proper cash flow between insurer and reinsurer Core Competencies: Client Focus: Understands client needs and delivers tailored solutions that create value and strengthen relationships.
