Project Manager - MEP Position Overview The MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of MEP systems installation, coordination, and delivery within construction or facility management projects. This role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation for MEP systems. Coordinate all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation activities from design through commissioning. Manage project timelines and critical paths to ensure milestones are achieved. Oversee procurement of MEP equipment, materials, and subcontractor services. Technical Coordination Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements and building codes. Coordinate MEP systems integration with architectural and structural elements to resolve conflicts. Conduct site inspections to verify installation quality and adherence to approved designs.
