Role Purpose The EHS Manager – India Operations is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) frameworks across all India operations. This role ensures statutory compliance, risk mitigation, operational safety, and the creation of a strong safety culture across offices, sites, and vendor operations nationwide. Key Responsibilities EHS Governance & Strategy Own and drive the EHS strategy for India operations in alignment with global/company EHS standards. Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, SOPs, and controls across all sites. Act as the single point of contact for EHS matters for India operations. Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with all applicable Indian EHS laws and regulations, including: Factories Act (where applicable) Fire & Life Safety norms Building & Occupational Safety regulations State-specific labor and safety requirements Maintain licenses, permits, statutory registers, and compliance trackers across locations. Support internal, external, and statutory audits and ensure timely closure of findings. Operational Safety Management Conduct periodic safety inspections, risk assessments, and EHS audits across offices, campuses, and operational sites.
