Duty Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of building systems and equipment. This role ensures optimal performance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems while maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for building occupants. Key Responsibilities Operations & Maintenance Monitor and operate building management systems (BMS) and control systems to ensure efficient facility operations. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and life safety systems. Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and manufacturer recommendations. Respond promptly to equipment failures, alarms, and emergency situations to minimize downtime and disruption. Troubleshooting & Repairs Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues efficiently, escalating complex problems to specialized contractors when necessary. Perform minor repairs on building equipment and systems to maintain operational continuity. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for major repairs and specialized maintenance work. Compliance & Safety Ensure all building systems comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and system readings. Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards, taking corrective action as needed. Parti
