Assistant Facility Manager The Assistant Facility Manager supports the Facility Manager in overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, safety, and efficiency of buildings and grounds. This role ensures that the facility is well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and provides a safe and functional environment for employees and visitors. Key Responsibilities 1. Facility Operations Assist in managing day-to-day facility operations. Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems. Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovation activities. Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs. 2. Vendor & Contractor Management Coordinate with external vendors and service providers. Monitor contractor performance and ensure quality standards. Assist in negotiating service contracts and agreements. 3. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintain records of repairs and service history. 4. Health, Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Conduct safety drills and inspections.
